You must have a 911 address to receive service from PEC.
Groundwater Protection Application
Required by the State of Tennessee for septic or sewer connection.

Building Permit (Morgan County Only)
Required for houses, mobile homes, barns, garages, campers and oil wells.
2. Prepare Your Site Before PEC Visits
Before the Staking Engineer Visit

Houses, barns, garages: Footers must be dug and poured. (Must have address marked for engineers and state inspector.)

Manufactured/mobile homes: Home must be delivered and set.

Septic/sewer: System must be installed (state law requirement).

3. Construction & Right-of-Way Requirements
Construction Estimate
PEC’s staking engineer will determine your Contribution-in-aid-of-Construction (construction cost).
Right-of-Way Clearing

Clear a 30-foot wide path, from ground to sky, along the route to your building.

PEC will identify the exact area to clear during the staking visit.

You are responsible for clearing your property and obtaining permission for any right-of-way needed on neighboring land.
Before PEC Starts Construction
